  • Visual Only: The inspection is limited to parts of the vehicle that are visible and accessible without the removal of body panels, engine components, or internal trim.
  • Road Test: A road test will be conducted at the inspector’s discretion, subject to the vehicle being road-legal, taxed, and insured.
  • Non-Diagnostic: This service does not include deep-system electronic diagnostics or engine strip-downs.

2. No Warranty or Guarantee

  • Point-in-Time Assessment: The PPI report reflects the condition of the vehicle only at the moment of inspection.
  • Future Performance: This inspection does not serve as a warranty, and no guarantees or assurances are provided regarding the future performance, reliability, or safety of the vehicle.

3. Limitation of Liability

  • Subsequent Faults: The inspector and Aston Keeper Ltd shall not be held liable for any additional faults, defects, or mechanical issues that may arise subsequent to the inspection date.
  • Purchase Decision: The PPI report is provided as a tool to assist the customer. The final decision to purchase the vehicle rests solely with the customer. Aston Keeper Ltd is not liable for any financial loss, loss of value, or repair costs incurred after the purchase of the vehicle.

4. Third-Party Vehicles

If the inspection is performed on a vehicle not owned by the customer (e.g., a car at a third-party dealership), Aston Keeper Ltd is not responsible for any damage or faults allegedly caused to the vehicle during the inspection, provided standard care was taken.

5. Cancellations

Cancellations made before the departure time of our inspector (distance dependent - you will have been advised on how long that journey will last) before the scheduled inspection time may be subject to a cancellation fee.

6. Payment

Upon payment for the service, you agree with the below statement:

"I understand that this is a non-invasive visual inspection and not a warranty. I acknowledge that Aston Keeper Ltd is not liable for future mechanical failures or defects that appear after the inspection date."
